Sigmund Stern Grove has 2 tennis courts at Sloat Boulevard and 22nd Avenue, both reservable on rec.us for $5 per court per hour, 7 days ahead at 8am. The courts are also booked for pickleball, there are no lights, and the nearest restrooms are at 20th Avenue and Wawona Street.
Where the courts are
Rec & Park lists the park at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard, and rec.us places the courts at Sloat Boulevard and 22nd Avenue. Stern Grove’s concert meadow is home to the Stern Grove Festival, which presents free performances every summer. The park also has croquet, a horseshoe court, a playground and a dog play area along Wawona Street, per Rec & Park.

- Pickleball courts A, C, D and F release 7 days ahead at 8am in the same 90-minute slots as tennis.

Tip: both courts release on the same 7-day, 8am schedule, so if you need two courts for a group, have two people book at 8am. Each person can hold only 1 reservation a day.
