Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center at 650 Capitol Avenue has 2 tennis courts, both reservable on rec.us for $5 per court per hour, with 90-minute slots from 7:30am to a last start at 4:30pm (6pm during Daylight Saving Time). There are no lights.
Where the courts are
Rec.us places the courts on the northeast side of the park and says to enter via Montana Street or Plymouth Avenue; the courts are unlocked. Rec & Park describes the center as sharing a 10-acre park with baseball and soccer fields and tennis and basketball courts. The building has a gymnasium, an auditorium, multipurpose rooms, a weight room and a large central courtyard.
