Angelo Rossi Playground Tennis Courts: Booking, Lights and Tips

Updated October 2026. Tennis City SF › Tennis Courts in Inner Richmond

Angelo J. Rossi Playground on Arguello Boulevard has 3 tennis courts. Courts 1 and 2 are walk-up except on weekend mornings, when they can be booked on rec.us, and court 3 is reservation-only and shared with pickleball on a posted schedule.

Where the courts are

Rec & Park lists the address as 2 Willard N Street; rec.us lists 600 Arguello Blvd. Rec.us places the courts on the north side of the park and says to enter via Arguello Boulevard or Anza Street. The park also has two baseball diamonds, an indoor swimming pool, basketball and a renovated two-level playground, per Rec & Park.

The courts 1 and 2 split started as a June 2026 pilot, so check rec.us for changes. Rec & Park limits each person to 1 reservation a day and 3 a week, for individual play only, and a booking left empty 15 minutes after the start time becomes walk-up time. See how to book a tennis court.

On weekdays and weekend afternoons, courts 1 and 2 follow the city’s walk-up rules: a 5-minute warm-up, one set or 30 minutes when others are waiting, and doubles when four or more are waiting. More in the walk-up courts guide.

Pickleball sharing

Rec.us lists 5 pickleball courts here, A to E, bookable 7 days ahead at 8am. It says four rolling pickleball nets are provided and court E has a permanent net. Tennis court 3 is shared with pickleball on a posted schedule, so check the sign at the gate. More in pickleball sharing.
