Updated October 2026. Tennis City SF › Tennis Courts in Outer Richmond
DuPont Tennis Courts at 336 31st Avenue in the Outer Richmond is a tennis-only site with 4 courts, all reservable on rec.us for $5 per court per hour. There are no lights, so play is daylight only.
Where the courts are
The courts fill a block between 30th and 31st Avenues just off Clement Street. Rec.us says you can enter from either 30th Avenue or 31st Avenue. It is the largest tennis site in the Outer Richmond; the neighborhood’s other public courts each have a single court.
Courts and booking
| Court | Release | Slots |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 3 | 7 days ahead at 8am | 90 minutes at 7:30am, 9am, 10:30am, noon, 1:30pm, 3pm and 4:30pm (6pm during Daylight Saving Time) |
| 4 | 2 days ahead at noon | 60 minutes, on the hour |
Rec & Park limits each person to 1 reservation a day and 3 a week, for individual play only. Any court nobody has booked is open for walk-up play, and a booking left empty 15 minutes after the start time becomes walk-up time. See how to book a tennis court.
When you play on an open court, the city’s walk-up rules apply: a 5-minute warm-up, one set or 30 minutes when others are waiting, and doubles when four or more are waiting. More in the walk-up courts guide.
Hours, lights and restrooms
- Court hours: 7am to 7:30pm on rec.us. Rec & Park lists park hours of 5am to midnight.
- Lights: none. For lighted courts, see the lighted courts list.
- Restrooms: sources disagree. Rec.us and the Rec & Park facility page list restrooms, but the city’s tennis directory does not. Check on site before you count on one.
- Wall and pickleball: no practice wall and no pickleball courts are listed here.
