Club and league tournaments
- TennisSF, the San Francisco branch of the Tennis League Network, runs single-elimination tournaments with a consolation bracket, so a first-round loss still gets you more matches. Its 2026 listings included August and October draws. TennisSF also lists the 2026 TLN National Championship at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, December 4 to 6. More on TennisSF in tennis social groups.
- Golden Gate Tennis Club posts tournament info, draws for its men’s 3.5 and 4.0 divisions, entry and score reporting on its site.
- Flex leagues aren’t tournaments, but they give rated match play on your own schedule. See UTR rating and leagues.
Knowing your level
Club draws like Golden Gate Tennis Club’s are split by NTRP level, so you need an honest rating before you enter. See NTRP ratings. UTR Flex leagues use UTR instead; see UTR rating.
Juniors
Goldman’s Junior Development Teams (Bronze, Silver and Gold, ages 8 to 15) lead to local league play, travel teams and USTA tournaments. USTA membership is free for players 18 and under. See kids and family tennis.
